Schwerpunkt: Didier Le Moal met Jeff Johnstone from the American J/Boats shipyard at the World Sailing Games in 1994. In the same year, J Composites was founded and the first J/92 was built by the French team. The J/80 and the J/120 followed and were the first boats with interiors designed for the European market. in 2001, the first sailboat developed jointly with J Composites was launched: the J/109. J Composites, which continues to build J/boats under license, today exerts its influence on the world market and is a driving force in the development of the product ranges. Today, J Composites is a co-developer of sailboats that are accessible to all, both for racing and cruising.
