It can extract waste heat from various sources like jacket cooling water, exhaust gases, waste steam or thermal oil and subsequently converts it into up to 100 kW or 200 kW of net electric power. This implies that less electric power has to be produced by means of fossil fuels, thereby reducing emissions, saving fuel costs and lowering a vessel’s carbon footprint. Because of its modular design multiple modules can easily be combined for greater amounts of waste heat, while the entire system still operates as a single machine up to 1 MW of electric power.
