Schwerpunkt: It all started with my love of board sports, which, as a native of Kiel, I share with many of my generation. Skateboarding, kiteboarding, surfing and kitesurfing have fascinated me for as long as I can remember. This fascination soon became my elixir of life. It is my passion and my inspiration. I was lucky enough to win several national and international championship titles in kitesurfing and kiteboarding - perhaps with a bit of talent thrown in. The decision to retire from top-class sport at the age of 25 was a conscious one. Over the years, he also began to enjoy design and fashion. Shirts, hoodies, beanies - I designed them all based on the subculture of surfing and skating. People liked it, the first sales made me proud and the next step was inevitable. NIIOTU CLOTHING was born. Why Niiotu? This name is not an artificial word. It means "be special" in a language spoken in the western part of Africa. And it is a tribute to my African roots.
